We have teams going regularly that individuals can join or On Mission will host your complete team. Joining the mission efforts is a life changing event that will never be forgotten.
The Nicaraguan people are very friendly people who welcome visitors with open arms. The fields are ripe for the harvest but the workers are few.
Opportunities to join God’s work in Nicaragua are in the following areas:
- Evangelistic teams working in Nicaragua neighborhoods in conjunction with local churches. Some activities include Vacation Bible School, showing of Jesus film, canvasing neighborhoods on foot, making home visits with local Churches, special celebration events, concerts and joining regular Worship Services.
- Working with local ministries to encourage and support their efforts. Currently we are working with a variety of ministries. Some include the House of Hope working with street girls, Children’s Hospital with moms with new babies, Hope Center for the homeless and many more.
- Construction Teams to help the Nicaraguans construct churches, medical, clinics, hospitals, schools, housing and more.
- Send out remote outreach teams to isolated Indian Tribes to evangelize, dig wells, and provide food and basic supplies. Often the villages are on rivers only accessed by boat and more often than not have no electrical or other basic utilities.
