A new year

On Mission With Our Lord is excited to be serving the Nicaraguan people. A new church plant is in the works and feeding center La Concha, Masaya with Pastor Noel Zeledon.  This is a community of some two hundred families with out any church in the community till now. The church has a lot and beginning to grow in new members. Teams will be going in this summer to help in the building of the church and VBS.

Our feeding program continues to grow now to eight center. The needs far excite the resources but God is faithful to the calling.  The church plants in Oruse and Camaya continue to flourish in the north as well as Xiloa with our ministry partner Pastor Humberto.

Thanks to a continuing partnership with Pastor Rubein Lopez and Calvary Baptist in Managua for their tireless support and efforts our children’s feeding centers and church planting have been possible.

Fwd: 2016 Missions!!!

Subject: 2016 Missions!!!

We are looking forward to a another great year of missions in Nicaragua 2016.  We will be assisting the Nicaragans to build two churches and starting three feeding centers. We are hosting a teachers conference. God continues to bless as we join in the His Spirit's leading and winning souls to the Lord.

Mission team one heads out February 23-29 to work with the Chorotegas Indian Tribe in Camayra. We will be building the first baptist church on the tribal land with Pastor Munoz. We started a feeding program in 2015 in Camayra and the neighboring tribe in Oruse. These tribes are nestled in the north-west corner of Nicaragua on the Hondouras border.

Our June teachers conference will be serving over a hundred teachers from 20 christian schools.  Our bright team leader from Georgia is recruiting some 15 teachers to assist in the training.  We will be passing out a special gift to the teachers, "Jesus Calling", the devotional in spanish by sarah Young.  These teacher effect over 3,000 students and deserve our very best. We are truly excited to serve this wonderful teachers!

Summer brings on the missions for our students and our July mission trip.  Vacation Bible School and light construction is planned in community of Xiloa with Pastor Humberto and the continueing work with Iglesia Buutista, Manantial De Vida.  We will be visiting our friends in Guadalupe at the 11th Del Nazareno and  Walter Fuetes Iglesia De Dios.

We asking for you support in our Nicaraguan mission efforts.  We need finicial help, churches willing to pack food for our feeding programs, and work campers to come join us on the field. Jesus special blessing is just waiting to fill your heart!!!

The first days of our week we "girted" ourselves and continued the Church construction project in Guadalupe which we began earlier in the year. Not only were we encouraged to see the whole Church property now under roof, but also because of the greeting received by our now familiar Church friends who had a new excitement and many stories of new and expanding ministries. Yet to enhance and continue the construction project much labor was still needed. The team along with our Nicaraguan brothers proceeded over the next three days to build a concrete platform that also was to become an altar of prayer. The last night of construction we dedicated it and began "breaking it in" as Pastor Mario and our team knelt before the Lord and ask Him to be attentive to the prayers and decisions which would be made there.

While there we once again called upon the name of the Lord to raise up a place for His Name, His glory and His worship.

We finished up our week on Sunday at the well-established Calvary Baptist church in inter-city Managua. The Lord moved as our team taught Sunday school and preached in worship Service. waking up to one of my favorite spots

Nothing like the beautiful weather in Nicaragua this time of year. Working with a group from Mich. building a church here in Managua Nicaragua. Know they are going to appreciate this sunny and 70's first thing in the morning too.

New warehouse space

What an exciting fall and busy moving to our new location.  On Mission With Our Lord has brand new warehouse free of charge and we have tripled our space capacity.  As we prepare to assist the Nice Foundation to pack 80,000 meal in Johnson City, storing the ingredients and supplies is a breeze. Thanks High Oaks Construction!!!

On mission with our Lord: Water Project in Yoliana Nicaragu

On mission with our Lord: Water Project in Yoliana Nicaragua

Water Project in Yoliana Nicaragu

On Mission has the privilege to assist the rural community in Yoliana with development of a new water system. Currently the town is gettting water from a spring a couple of kilometers from the community. The spring is drying up and does not provide enought water to supply the community. The ministry received a $5,000 private grant for a water project for Nicaragua.

Water Project

We received a wonderful individual grant for a water project for Yolaina Nicaragua.  The new project will provide water for 1500 people in the rural community. We are partnering with my missionary friend Marcos. We be catching water from a mountain stream, piping it 2 kms to a big holding tank and ties into the city system.  Thanks!
